Business development
Support achievement of all customers related targets (Sales, Order Intake, Profitability, Price, Volume, Forecast) for respective OEMs
Heading and/or supporting the commercial (i.e. pricing) and contractual aspects.
Preparation, coordination and processing of new RFQs with the HQ and the OE Customer
Prepare and participate the annual price and volume negotiations with OE Customer.
Supporting operational cash flow management (account receivables) and order processing (support to operations during allocation)
Lead/support customer visits, plant audits etc.
Support in setting up the supply chain (logistic flow, supplier number, EDI)
Act as a technical liaison between OE customers and Supplier (“One Voice to the Customer - Approach”)
Accompanying the approval process in collaboration with R&D and customer
Manage OE customer specific requirements (i.e. tire performance, tire testing, testing correlation, tire quality, program specific requirements, tire marking requirements, tire shipping requirements…etc.), ensure all relevant requirements are incorporated in project scope, project deliverables, and supplier internal documents/procedures
Support/lead customer complaint handling activities. Analyze, follow ¬up, and respond to customer complaints with support from account/regional Quality Manager, plant quality, and central quality teams to ensure timely resolution of quality problems through structured problem solving

Regular visit to Distributors and Key Accounts to maintain the business relationship by collecting customer comments and feedbacks
Reports on latest market covering the major competitors’ information about price, promotion, marketing activities, and others
Development of potential new customers as well as the efficiency improvement suggestions on current distribution channel
More than 3 years working experience in tire and/or auto parts industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in automotive or mechanical engineering preferred
Deep understanding of Kenyan local tire sales channels, market conditions and customer information
Proficiency in English, Swahili fluency preferred
